Refund Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
We want you to be confident PVDCal is right for you. This policy explains the free trial, our 30-day money-back guarantee and what happens when you cancel. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
Every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is needed to start it, but nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel before the trial ends, from Account → Manage billing, and you will not be charged at all.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If PVDCal is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your first payment (the payment taken when your trial ends) and we will refund that payment in full, whether you chose monthly or yearly billing. No reason is needed. The guarantee applies once per customer, and your access ends when the refund is made.
3. After the money-back period
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Payments made after the money-back period, including renewals, are not refunded. There are no partial refunds for unused time, including the rest of a yearly plan.
4. How to ask for a refund
Our payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which issues all refunds. Either:
- use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or go to paddle.net and choose to request a refund; or
- send us a request through the contact form, choosing "Billing or subscription", with the email address you subscribed with.
Refunds go back to your original payment method. Paddle usually processes them within 14 days; your bank may take a few more days to show them.
5. Your rights under consumer law
This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you. For example, if PVDCal has a major problem you may be entitled to a refund whatever this policy says, and consumers in the EU and UK may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days.
